The Promotion Code box sits near the bottom of the Bet9ja sign-up form and is marked optional, which is why it gets skipped. Enter YOHAIG in that field before submitting. It cannot be added later.

Getting the code applied

Step 1. Start the sign-up. Go to bet9ja.com and select Register, or use the direct registration link.

Step 2. Fill the form. You will need your name, a Nigerian phone number, an email address and a password you have not used elsewhere.

Step 3. Locate the code box. Look for Promotion Code, usually the last field before the terms checkbox.

Step 4. Type YOHAIG. Enter it in capitals. The field is not case sensitive, but capitals avoid confusion.

Step 5. Submit and verify. Complete verification before moving to the deposit stage.

Step 6. Fund the account. The minimum qualifying deposit is ₦100. Most Nigerian payment methods are accepted, including bank transfer and the common wallets.
